Invisible gold mineralisation discovered in Mauken
Greenstone Belt
Following the 2011 field season's efforts new promising results
are appearing.
Samples of apperently barren carbonate return results of up to 2
g/t gold after being analysed by ICP at ALS Chemex, Sweden. The
carbonate was found to have an elevated aresenic content, but did
not elsewise show signs of mineralisation.
Søren Lund Jensen (CEO) comments: "The new results are very
exciting considering the widespread gold and arsenic anomalies from
our soil sampling program. We have seen consistent anomalies in
large areas with no previously known mineralisation. We now find
that this carbonate hosted gold mineralisation can be virtually
invisible. This obviously makes the arsenic rich carbonates a new
exploration target".
