Scandinavian Highlands is pleased to announce that a
drilling programme has been completed at the Mauken Greenstone Belt
Gold Project
The drilling programme of six (6) holes with a total of 700
meters targeted the main gold mineralised zone. Intersections were
made in all six drill holes. The drill intersections occur at the
contact between a basalt and a metasedimentary unit. The host
contact zone is marked by extensive alteration. The gold
mineralised zone is enveloped by a 3-6 m wide pyritized zone which
has not previously been tested for possible mineralization.
The drilling was carried out by North Scandinavia Drilling AB
(NSD).
